Meem Saakinah Definition

Meem Saakinah: مْ is a Meem with no Harakah, free from any vowel, or with a Sukoon sign on it.

الميم الساكنة: هي ميم خالية من الحركات (الفتح - الضم - الكسر) أو هي ميم عليها سكون

Izhaar Shafawi

إظهار شفوي

الإظهار الشفوي: هو إخراج كل حرف من مخرجه من غير غنة في الحرف المظهر

Pronouncing every letter from its articulation point (Makhraj) without a ghunnah on the clear letter.

Letters: all the letters other than م - ب — make a complete contact of the two lips.

وَيُ‍‍مْ‍‍دِدْكُ‍‍مْ
هُ‍‍مْ صَاغِرُونَ

إدغام شفوي

الإدغام الشفوي: هو إدخال حرف ساكن في حرف متحرك بحيث يصيران حرفًا واحدًا مشددًا

To mix one letter into another: a Saakin letter enters the vowel letter following it, so they become a single Mushaddad letter, with Ghunnah 2 beats.

قهُ‍‍مْ قَوْمٌ

كأَعْمَالُهُ‍‍مْ كَسَرَابٍ بِقِيعَةٍ

لأَمْ لَهُ‍‍مْ

نمِنْكُ‍‍مْ

هـأَمْ هُ‍‍مْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ
