Mushaddadah: a Noon نّ or a Meem مّ carrying a Shaddah (ـّ) is a doubled letter. It is recited with Ghunnah for 2 counts.
التعريف: تُغَنُّ النُّونُ الْمُشَدَّدَةُ وَالْمِيمُ الْمُشَدَّدَةُ بِغُنَّةٍ بِمِقْدَارِ حَرَكَتَيْنِ
الغنة: صوت يخرج من الخيشوم
Ghunnah is produced from the nasal cavity (al-Khayshum).Both letters are recited with Ghunnah for 2 counts.

Important: the Ghunnah is an obligatory nasal sound emitted through the nose, held for exactly 2 harakat when the Noon or Meem is doubled with Shaddah.
